Snow Day

I left the ER (on Psychiatry business) at 5pm on Friday afternoon and found that my windshield was frozen over. Yesterday we woke up to find a total whiteout of the front yard & street. Since Christmas break just ended - and I, like others waited until the last possible second to come back - so our cuppards are bare. We HAD to go to Wal-Mart. I gave the ice ample time to melt (so I thought) - but after slidding completely through the first stop sign, I just made a small trip around the block and came back home.

This morning we've had another ice storm - this one caused church to be cancelled. Jezabell is refusing to go outside (she says "are you crazy? its cold out there! the ground is covered with ice! I think you send me outside just so you can watch me slip on the ice and do my little slippery dance.") I guess we'll just hang out here and study and catch up on our TIVO.
