I love my life

I'm on OB-GYN now. . .women power! Whatever. My first week has been on the GYN-ONC service (which is doc talk for women's cancer doctors). My day goes a little like this:

• Wake up when the clock still reads in the 4am hour.
• Get to the hosptial before 5:30am.
• Tell at least 3 women that their cancer is going to kill them by 7am.
• Go to 3 hosptials and round on two different doctors' patients before 8am
• Start clinic #1 at 8am - then runover until 12:15pm. . .oh - by the way - clinic #2 starts at noon AND its across town - so get there like 20 minutes ago
• Do clinic #2
• Eat "lunch" at 4:30pm
• Re-round on both doctors patients at all three hosptials
• Go home, study up & good news. . .you don't have to be back at 5:30 in the morning. . . .you've got to be back at 5am 'cause the OR starts hoppin' at 7am

Yeah - I just love my life!
