Shower Time

Only 7 more weeks until "The Wedding" - we had the lingerie shower this past weekend & it was so much fun. We all showed up in black & white - talk about ESPN!

Man - Internal Medicine (IM) began today. . .so far I haven't had the best experience with it - but at least I get an awesome partner to work with. (Praise God for Elizabeth!) I may not get to post much for awhile (as if I am known for posting all the time anyways. . .) due to IM. We're on call q4 (meaning every 4th night. . .yeah!) See you on the other side!

Being a parent. . .

Okay - so I'm not exactly a parent. . .but I do have a dog. She is *mostly* well-behaved. Tonight I was sitting at my coffee table reading & such - so I brought my BBQ chicken & asparagus (Cory - that is a vegetable - something you never eat) to the table. Jez came close to get a good smell - I quickly corrected her "Jez - that is NOT yours - go lay down." She walked across the room and did as I asked.

Ten minutes later, I had finished about 3/4ths of my food - I had to run in my room to grab something and I heard the pecular sound of my spoon hitting my bowl - I came back to the living room to discover that Jez had "resuced" my chicken from the bowl - placed it on the carpet & was about to eat it.

"JEZABELL - BAD GIRL!!! OUTSIDE NOW!" I had to swiftly brush her outside & close the door. . .then I proceeded to laugh hysterically. Oh well - I guess I was finished with it - but it is still interesting to me that she didn't eat any of the asparagus.
